On June 27, Professor Parente will bring the SEIUNISA program to the Global Council for the Promotion of International Trade event to celebrate World MSME Day

June 27 is the Day of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) to honor their role in achieving the Sustainable Development Goals under Agenda 2030.

This year, theUniversity of Salerno e SEIUNISA will be present at the event organized by the Global Council for the Promotion of International Trade, scheduled for the June 27 from 10:00 a.m. at the United Nations headquarters in New York City and streamed on UN Web Tv, to celebrate the World MSME Day.

In fact, Professor Roberto Parente, Unisa lecturer, Student Entrepreneurship Delegate and SEIUNISA CTS member, will be speaking on the panel discussion “The voices of innovation for MSMES – Global Perspectives” from 2:40 to 4:00 p.m. via a link. Along with other professors and experts in the field, he will emphasize the University’s role in exploring innovative strategies, best practices and collaborations to empower MPMIs.

The theme of this year’s celebration is“Building a Stronger Future Together.” This day, moreover, was established thanks to the contribution of Prof. Ayman El Tarabishy, professor of management at GWU and director of the international network ICSB – International Council for Small Business, who met with Innovators from the SEIUNISA program and emphasized the importance of promoting the growth and development of small businesses worldwide.
