SEIUNISA, great success for the Innovators call. 198 applications arrived

Great response for the “Innovators” call for proposals of the SEIUNISA (Student Entrepreneurship & Innovation) project sponsored by Unisa Foundation and University of Salerno, aimed at stimulating self-entrepreneurship. A total of 198 applications were received from all departments of the University at the selection phase, which will conclude with the awarding of 50 Fellowships. Significant numbers for the first call, which will be followed by others later this year, with the goal of spreading an enterprise culture among the student population and fostering the birth of new innovative companies.

Scholarship recipients will be offered the opportunity to participate in about 100 training hours characterized by workshops and moments of information and training on topics related to new technologies and innovation, with prominent personalities from the world of entrepreneurship, called “Evangelists.”

“We are very pleased with the result achieved, which rewards the efforts of the Foundation and our university to make people understand the importance of a project of this magnitude,” stressed Prof. Antonio Piccolo, President of the Unisa Foundation, “About 200 students have expressed a desire to undertake entrepreneurial activity. Significant numbers that represent a good starting point to continue the work of spreading a business culture at the basis of the birth of new innovative enterprises. A wide-ranging initiative that aims to keep Unisa’s talents in our territory and create new opportunities for work and professional growth.”
