Registration is now open for EWA – Empowering Women in Agrifood from EIT Food, a women’s entrepreneurship development program that, through training, mentorship and a cash prize, will support 10 women leading a company or with an idea to develop.
EWA is an EIT Food initiative promoted in 11 countries (Estonia, Greece, Italy, Poland, Portugal, Serbia, Slovenia, Spain, Turkey, Romania, and Ukraine) with the aim of bringing out the potential of female entrepreneurship by solving some of the most important challenges in the agribusiness sector: overcoming the still existing gender gap, promoting women in management positions, and increasing the number of women-led start-ups.
For
6 months
participants will attend a training course held by the Future Food Institute and Dock3 and will be paired with carefully chosen mentors to best accompany them along this journey and give them all the support they need to develop their project. Participants will also gain access to the EWA Community and the EIT Food Hive network.
