A new call for proposals under the SEIUNISA (Student Entrepreneurship & Innovation at UNISA) platform, a program of the University and coordinated by the Unisa Foundation, was presented in the Pecoraro Lecture Hall of the University of Salerno.<\/p>\n
Entitled “Athenaeum Innovation Lab – A.L.I.,”<\/strong> the new call aims to support teams of students, including with an initial economic contribution of 5,000 euros, in the design, development and validation of innovative entrepreneurial projects and in the in-progress implementation of start-ups. It stands in ideal continuity with the first two calls, “Innovators” and “Innovation Community,” which were highly successful and widely attended by students, entrepreneurs and professionals through workshops, hands-on labs, pitch competitions and Study Tours to connect with advanced innovation ecosystems such as Seoul and Boston.<\/p>\n “Students are a great potential for innovation,” said University of Salerno Magnificent Chancellor Vincenzo Loia<\/strong>, “SEIUNISA wants to be an opportunity for them to experiment, grow and compare. The University makes a financial commitment to enhance these talents and ensure that they can approach the world of innovation and technology transfer as early as during their student experience. Because of its strong impact in the growth of young people and the local area, we will reintroduce the SEIUNISA pathway again next year.”<\/em><\/p>\n “SEIUNISA,” continued Professor Antonio Piccolo<\/strong>, President of the University of Salerno University Foundation, “enables the growth of young people but also of the territory through the enhancement of talents and their innovative ideas. SEIUNISA students have experienced significant innovation realities such as those in the United States and South Korea. Now, the hope is that they will be able to formalize their ideas. On the part of the Unisa Foundation, there will be maximum organizational and administrative support in the establishment of start-ups.”<\/em><\/p>\n With the ALI Grant, the UNISA student startups, will be able to concretely develop the validation and development activities of their Business Model typical of the pre-seed phase and thus first of all, refinement of the innovative Value proposition through market research, meetings with experts, prototyping of the product\/service, and defining potential partnerships for future developments.<\/p>\n
